Estimate for YA2026, filed in 2027. It assumes you qualify and spent up to each selected limit; sublimits and combined categories can reduce the result. Savings compare progressive tax before and after reliefs, including the individual rebate. Spouse rebate and zakat are not modelled. Confirm with LHDN. Not tax advice.
Every resident individual gets RM9,000 automatically - no claim and no receipts needed. Beyond that you can only claim the reliefs you actually qualify for, each with its own cap. Ticking every box here shows a theoretical maximum, not an entitlement.
Do the medical reliefs add on top of each other?
No. Serious illness, fertility, vaccination and dental; the complete medical examination and mental-health sub-limit; and child early intervention all draw on one RM10,000 ceiling. Spending RM1,000 on a check-up uses up RM1,000 of that RM10,000 rather than adding to it. Medical care for parents and grandparents is separate, with its own RM8,000 limit.
What is the difference between the Finder and the Tax Relief Planner?
The Finder helps you discover which reliefs might apply and what they could be worth at most. The Planner is where you enter your actual amounts to see your real total, the headroom left against each cap, and the tax you would genuinely save.
Which year of assessment do these figures cover?
Year of assessment 2026, filed in 2027. The caps were checked line by line against the TP1 deduction schedule in LHDN's 2026 Monthly Tax Deduction specification.
